Managing The Environment

Task 1

1. A resource is anything available in our environment

2.  There are three different types of resources Natural, renewable, non renewable and Cultural.

3. Examples for resources are water which is a natural resource oil which is also a natural resource and solar which is a renewable resource in there own way they are all used for everyday use, Another example in depth is how they work Water this is used in everyday use you drink it it also makes lakes, rivers, ponds and more. Oil is used as a main power source like powering building and vehicles, oil is also used to heat things. Solar  used in modern day now to provide energy

Task 2

Solar energy is one of the cleanest and most abundant renewable sources meaning that it will never run out or be in short supply solar energy reaches us via the sun. So overall if the sun is shining it will produce power

Local government

What is local government. Local government is the lowest tier of public administration within there state/town. Their job is to build all the local buildings, local swimming pools, Roads, schools and others. They are able to make laws and rules within there state/town. even though the local government makes the rules the city government who are just the same as the local government only differences is the city government pays people to go and check a building or fine someone for parking for too long . They also represent and involve citizens in there area. Our local government does things for us that we may not even realise, for example they always look over our roads making sure they are safe to drive on they also provide us with building that make everyone's day easier and fun like pools, types of transportation, streets, sewers an others. On the other hand the local government does not increasing citizen engagement, taking care of the people who don't have much. or some some people with property.

Outsiders novel

Our year 10 class has been reading a novel named outsiders, one question we were all asked is what is an Outsider is . My first answer was someone who doesn't belong. At this time i have read up to chapter 8 the book is very exciting. It has to be one of the best books i have ever read, the book has good characters, good backgrounds. Also all the events that has happened in the book have been nail biting. After reading close to most of the novel i have a new understanding of the word outsider. My new understanding of the word outsiders is " someone who is deemed unpopular and chooses secrecy over friendship"

The scientific method is a seven step process the first step is to question. The second step is research. The third step is your hypothesis what you think will happen. The fourth step is experiment. The filth step is observations. the sixth step is your final results. The and the final step is to share and present your finished work ex.

Title: its based on what your project is on

Aim: what your trying to find out

Hypothesis: your expectations

Method: a step by step process on how you tested your experiment

Results: your finished work

Conclusion: this is everything you have done put together and your final product
