Outsiders novel

Our year 10 class has been reading a novel named outsiders, one question we were all asked is what is an Outsider is . My first answer was someone who doesn't belong. At this time i have read up to chapter 8 the book is very exciting. It has to be one of the best books i have ever read, the book has good characters, good backgrounds. Also all the events that has happened in the book have been nail biting. After reading close to most of the novel i have a new understanding of the word outsider. My new understanding of the word outsiders is " someone who is deemed unpopular and chooses secrecy over friendship"
